Voxan Wattman Electric Motorcycle

The Voxan Wattman Electric Motorcycle was introduced at the Paris Motorcycle Show. I’m not sure how well this would do for long-distance touring our how comfortable it would be during an all-day ride. You would sure get some looks riding around town and grabbing a gallon of milk though! This motorcycle boasts “200 HP electric shock” and claims to be the most powerful electric motorcycle in the world with instant torque up to 10,500 rpm! Worried about charging? Well this bike can be charged to 80% in less than 30 minutes using a standard household socket. The problem…it’ll only go 112 miles before needing a charge. Not far enough for adventure motorcycle riders.

A few stats on the motor:

• Max. power : 200 HP  (from 7,500 rpm to 10,500 rpm)
• Max. torque : 200Nm (from 0 to 6,000 rpm)
• Max. motor speed : 10,500 rpm

How about the performance of the bike:

• Max. speed : 170 kph
• 0-100 : 3.4 s
• 0-160 : 5.9 s
