Oregon Coast

Oregon Coast

Mike and I left Thursday at 1 PM and rode North to Baker City, Oregon. I think we arrived at around 9-10 PM and put about 500 miles on the dial.

Friday we rode up to Portland and then out to Cannon Beach for lunch. We ended up in Florence, Oregon. We turned about 550 miles total with 160 of those miles along the coast and maybe 200 along the Columbia River. Beautiful country fo sho!

It was raining on Saturday morning so we suited up with our rain gear on and headed to Eugene for the Utah vs. Oregon football game. Great place to watch a game and boy do they know how to tailgate and get behind their team. Utah could learn a few things here and any school in Utah for that matter.

We made it home on Sunday night around 5. After the game we actually rode all the way to Burns, OR which brought our Saturday total to 319. When we got to Burns all the hotels were full (amazing), so we ended up sleeping at a rest stop out in the middle of nowhere next to a couple picnic tables and at midnight no less. Rough! Sunday morning we rolled 540 miles back home. Total = 2000 miles. What a beautiful place/ride, especially along the coast and in the forests. My first taste of the Oregon on a motorcycle.
